An exceptional Tulwar sword with a wootz blade and a wootz hilt. The elegant curved blade is full size. The edge is razor sharp, clean, no dinks, and no damage; it retains the original bevelled edge. There is some very minor surface pitting on the polished blade. The hilt has a finger guard and an enlarged pommel spike (allowing for better handling if the sword is used on its own). Spine is of good width, consistent, strong and sturdy. There is a false edge towards the tip of the sword. The sword is very well balanced, extremely dexterous, and sits naturally in the hand. The Tulwar handles immaculately as do all weapons sold at www.shastaragar.com possessing fantastic balance. This sword is ideal for wielding in the higher Yudhans in Sanatan Shastar Vidiya.
This sword, like others on www.shastaragar.com It has featured on demonstration videos previously done by Gurdev Nidar Singh. An opportunity to own a true fighting piece with a deep powerful cut; the sweet spot is 3inches above the very base of the sword - hallmark of real high-end fighting blades. Not one to miss.
The sword comes with a wooden scabbard covered in black leather; it is in relatively good condition. A scabbard for the sword can be made on request. Please contact us on shastaragar@gmail.com to request a quote.
Note to customers: We are aiming to re-educate our customers who are seeking high quality fighting weapons. High end fighting swords are rarely embellished with gold / silver; they are designed to be highly functional and practical. It takes a Sanatan Shastar Vidiya practitioner to understand what qualifies as a top class, good, average, or bad weapon.
