An opportunity to own a sought after sword of the Katti variety. Designed for the higher Sanatan Vidiya Yudhans the sword has exceptional handling and dexterity; engineered for quick draws. This particular sword has been made from a Sirohi blade of very high quality wootz; this was most likely done very early on in its life. Many Katti swords are typically fashioned from other swords and tailored to the warrior's specifications. This particular example possesses the original Rajasthani hilt with a finger guard and a pronounced pommel spike; The blade edge is clean, no dinks, and no damage; it retains most of the original edge to the sharp tip. There is a short section possessing a false edge; approx. 8 cm. The sword handles immaculately as do all weapons sold at www.shastaragar.com possessing fantastic balance and a deep cut.

A scabbard for the sword can be made on request. Please contact us on shastaragar@gmail.com to request a quote.

Note to customers: We are aiming to re-educate our customers who are seeking high quality fighting weapons. High end fighting swords are rarely embellished with gold / silver; they are designed to be highly functional and practical. It takes a Sanatan Shastar Vidiya practitioner to understand what qualifies as a top class, good, average, or bad weapon.

Customers outside the UK interested in purchasing our weapons are kindly requested to contact us directly to discuss available options and requirements.
