A serious fighting and very functional North Indian Tulwar sword with a high quality wootz blade. A deep cutter with an excellent edge - no dinks or nicks. The hilt retains some silver and has blackened with age. Minor dark patina which is not unusual for such blades; doesn't diminish the balance, weight or structural integrity. Exceptionally well-balanced blade with minor wear; the edge is razor sharp. The hilt possesses a solid knuckle guard terminating with a lotus bud; no movement. This is sword is designed to inflict viciously deep draw-cuts and trust-cuts when with the correct body mechanics. A fine functional piece for someone wishing to progress seriously in Sanatan Shastar Vidiya.
